Jobs : Year 5 SEN TA

A SEN Teaching Assistant for a Year 5 Primary class is needed for an after Easter start in a lovely client SEN school we work with in the Whitley Bay area. This roles is to provide general TA support to the pupils in the classroom and some one to one support. The role is very long term and may become permanent. In this role you will be working with children with needs ranging from ASD, MLD, and PMLD and SEMH. Experience in supporting children with any of the above needs would be an advantage but is not essential - a willingness to learn and engage with SEN children is the most important quality we are looking for.

You will require a level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above or be prepared to train on our level 2 TA course whilst in the role.

In addition, you must:

• Provide two referees we can contact

• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
