Level 3 Teaching Assistant (1:1)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (1:1)  to join a welcoming team of a primary school within the Washington area. This is a full-time position, starting asap and full time until Christmas 2023. The role will be supporting a pupil in a Year 2 classroom one to one under the direction of the Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a real wish to work with underprivileged pupils who have social, emotional and mental health issues. You might be a new graduate considering a role as a Teacher, a TA or HLTA or someone with a Post 16, Youth Work or Outdoor Education qualification. 

The ideal Level 3 Teaching Assiatant (1:1) candidate would:

• Have good classroom management skills
• Have a passion for supporting the learning of pupils 
• Have excellent subject knowledge
• Be able to organise themselves and work well within a team
• Have had previous experience working 1:1 with a pupil

In addition, you must:

• Provide two referees we can contact

• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
