Premier Teachers is a leading Teacher Recruitment Company which has been established since 2013. We provide Teachers and Training Assistants to local schools. Since opening our Sunderland office in 2013, we have become the agency of choice for a number of North East SEN schools.

We work with a number of PRUs and behavioural schools in the North East. We are looking for an ICT Teacher who is confident working with children who can present extreme emotional and behavioural problems, among other SEN needs.

You must be able to react quickly and de-escalate unpredictable situations calmly. It is vital that you have a calm and empathetic nature with the ability to relate to hard to reach children who may demonstrate extreme behaviours, many of whom will have come from disadvantaged backgrounds. You will need to be forward thinking and flexible to adapt to various situations. You must have previous experience working in a PRU environment. Team Teach would be an advantage for this particular school.
