Northumberland

Northumberland is one of the least populated areas in the UK and it is renowed for its beauty. Famous for its castles, Bambrugh Castle is stunning overlooking Bambrugh beach and Alnwick Castle is still lived in by the Duke and Duchess but it is steeped in history. Further north we have the Farn Islands which is a marine reserve and it is famous for it's seals and diving. Kielder forrest and Kielder reserviour is a huge expanse and is home to many rare species such as Ospreys.
